A Grumpy Cat Mug will Make Grouchy People Smile

Chances are you recognize the unpleasant cat featured on this mug. The Grumpy Cat has become a pop culture icon in a very short period of time. The reason behind this grumpy cat's fame is the fact that the cat hates everything, and I mean everything. In fact, this seriously depressed kitty hates Mondays, Disneyland, potato chips, Christmas trees, having fun, and just about anything else that would make the average person smile. Seriously, even Eeyore has more to look forward to then this chronically unpleasant cat.

Don't Confuse the Grumpy Cat with Garfield

When you think of grumpy cats, your mind probably races to another famous and rather grumpy cat - Garfield. While Garfield and the Grumpy Cat may have some similarities, the Grumpy Cat wins the trophy for the most grouchy feline on the planet. After all, Garfield can be adorable and doesn't hate everything. After all, he would probably marry lasagna, if it were socially acceptable for a cat to marry a pan of lasagna.

Grumpy Cat Mugs will put a Smile on the Most Unpleasant Person's Face

The great thing about the Grumpy Cat is that this nasty kitty has a way of making anybody smile, even those that hate mornings, hate social engagements, and genuinely dislike just about everything else that make most people smile. So, if you have someone in your life that is rather difficult to buy for and not exactly a happy-go-lucky person, you can surely put a smile on their face with a Grumpy Cat mug. I am always happy and still get a kick out of this sour-puss kitty and his dislike of...basically everything. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me, if this iconic kitty becomes a pop culture icon of depression, unhappiness, and self-loathing for decades to come.

Facts About the Grumpy Cat

  • The Grumpy Cat's permanent grouchiness is caused by a feline underbite and dwarfism
  • As of 12/15, the Grumpy Cat Facebook page has over 8 million likes
  • Official Spokescat of Friskies
  • Won a Webby Award in 2013 for Meme of the Year

@Brite-Ideas: Down in the mouth kitty! I love it. I attempted to turn Tard's frown upside down in the background photo. :)
