Ear issues can be caused by lots of different things. If you are sure it's allergies, the most common issues are wheat, pork and corn.

But dust, grass, and a 100 other things are also possible.  A mild allergy pill, daily ear cleaning and a change in diet will help limit the ear issues but it will not get rid of it completely.

Diet to fix food allergies.  Find a wheat, corn and pork free dog food.  Takes about three weeks for see results.  If this doesn't work, you may have to try a prescription food.

Allergy pills to fix pollen or grass allergies.  They can be gotten over the counter at most grocery stores but get your vet to okay them first.  Chloraphanarmine (spelling).  Little yellow allergy pill.  VET OKAY is a must to use this!!!

Are you positive it's allergies and not a bacterial or yeast infection in the ears?  There are so many different things that could cause allergies in the ears, but there are also medications to help with them.  Talk to your vet.  Good luck!

Ear infections are more likely to occur in certain dogs.  Dogs that have floppy ears are at higher risk.  Moisture trapped in them can cause yeast infections and other infections.
Also, your dog could have mites.  Have you had him/her checked by your vet?  This would be your best bet to determine the cause and follow the correct course of action.  Diet does have an effect as well, but there can be so many other causes.  Don't waste your money or energy on trying to figure it out.  Get some professional advice before it gets worse.
    Good luck!
