   By giving them a clean area. Showing them attention. And getting her treats every once in a while.

   Our dogs are treated so well. I have always joked that if there is reincarnation, I want to come back as one of our dogs.  Our dogs get the best food, and I wish it was not so expensive, they have 5 acres to play on. They have a fenced yard as well and are let out to "go" or play every couple of hours.
   
   They get a ride in the car now and then and I have a chocolate lab who loves to sit on my husband's lap and he is always welcome.

   My dog rules my house.  She gets hugs, kisses, toys and the best food and treats possible.  We play whenever possible.  She has a large, fenced yard to run in.  She sleeps smashed up against me as my personal  heater.  She has scheduled grooming appointments and whenever needed, she goes to rule at the vets.

   We lost our adored Shih Tzu a couple of weeks ago and recently adopted a rescue dog, the poor little guy had been abused. He is an adorable Shipoo and is under 1 yr old. My hubby and I are slathering him with love and he is eating it up. He is starting to warm up and has even started climbing onto my hubby's lap. When we first got him he was scared to death of men, so that is a big step for him. It makes me  so angry to think of anyone having been abusive to him. So happy we can show him the love and affection he deserves!

   By laying on the bed and play fighting with him. He loves it and that is his place of choice. He also likes to stretch out alongside me and lay on his back so I can scratch his chest and belly.

   You can show your pet love, by giving him lots of attention by playing with him.  Play catch or tug of war.  Speak to him/her in a gentle soft voice.  I think dogs like humans can sense if you love them.
