We adopted a street dog several years ago who wastested positive for Leishmaniosis. For many years there were no symptoms, but now slowly the disease seems to have started taking its course. Has anyone gone through this before and can give us some advice?

Thanks, but Canine L. is not transmittable to humans and even rarely transmitted from dog to dog. It is not treatable, so our vet is not earning much. You can improve your dog's life though through nutrition for example. I'd like to learn more.
