When I tap my African Grey Parrot on his beak with a peanut he says "Cmon, cmon,... ya wanna fight" & raises his wings. So I'm trying to get him to also say, "Ya want a piece of me?" Weeks have gone by and he never says it. Today he says, "good morning" (he knows that one) & then he says "Ya wanna peee?" three times. I used to have a Timneh that would sing "I'm Popeye the sailor man" all the way through to boop, boop. One day he stopped at "I'm Popeye the sail... " and from that day on never went past saying "I'm Popeye the sail!" I really don't want this parrot saying "Ya wanna pee?"

I know,my grey(name is Kabul)will bite anyone who puts a hand in his cage but if he's out he loves to perch on my hand, won't bite but also won't let you touch him (accept my wife with whom he cuddles). Now he's saying"you want me"plus u wanna pee
I bought both my African Greys, the best talkers, from private owners for a tiny fraction of what pet shops charge. If you want one I'd look for ads from owners & get on a list with a bird rescue organization, that is how I got my SC Cockatoo cheap
