When a dog has injured a muscle will he have a fever?
My dog had a sore neck yesterday then he developed a fever. He is fine today but was wondering if the fever was due to stress?
I am not convinced the fever was stress related, however the injury site will most certainly have an increased temp. If your dog's temp was up in general, it is more likely due to a viral interruption that had settled within a certain muscle sector, causing the neck discomfort. This is not uncommon in all mammals. A simple cold can attack any part of our body, seeming to pretend to be something else. I am glad your dog has no symptoms today, but know that a fever is an indication that the white blood cells are fighting something within your k9's body. Keep lots of fluids available for him to drink and a bland diet for another day just in case a more serious condition is lurking below the surface. A quick trip to your vet can determine if the sudden temp increase was caused by a simple 24-hour thing, or if it is a deeper illness that has flared up.
I wish you and your k9 friend the best of health.
Fever is normally a sign that the body is fighting infection. I would think something else was going on besides the muscle issue. He certainly could have endured some stress due to the muscle issue but I don't see that driving his temp up. WB

How long do files stay in the temp folder?I opened an email attachment I shouldn't have at work (my payslip - pdf) on a shared computer. OPENED, not saved. Does that stay in a temporary folder somewhere, and how long until it is deleted?

I have observed atheists. They have a striking similarity. They think the existence of a Creator God is impossible. I mean, why? What is so uncanny in a God? There are lots of things we don't know about, and don't understand. Maybe God is the Ultimate Unexplained? Why do ya atheists fear the *idea...
