Some of my fav Christmas movies featuring dogs!

  • The Dog Who Saved Christmas

The family treks off to spend Christmas Eve with Grandma (Mindy Sterling), and two burglars (Joey Diaz and Dean Cain) show up to rip off the Bannisters' home. Determined not to fail his new family, Zeus puts his mind to work and sets out to deter the thieves in unconventional ways, such as dropping Christmas ornaments off the roof onto their heads and showering them with flour--think Home Alone with a dog at the helm rather than a kid.

  • The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation

But toss in an unexpected visit from cocky Uncle Randy (Casper Van Dien of 'Watch Over Me' and 'The Curse of King Tut's Tomb') and his foxy poodle Bella (voiced by Paris Hilton) and a familiar pair of bumbling jewel thieves (led by Dean Cain of 'Lois & Clark: The New Adventure of Superman' and 'The Dog Who Saved Christmas') and this holiday may be headed downhill fast!

  • The Dog Who Saved The Holidays

It's a sun-soaked holiday season for the Bannister family as they travel to Southern California to stay with Aunt Barbara (Shelley Long), who surprises them with a new puppy named Eve (voiced by Peyton List). Everyone is smitten with Eve -- except for the Bannister's dog, Zeus (voiced by Joey Lawrence), who sees what a mischievous animal she is when no one else is around. After deciding to run away, Zeus sees Ted and Stewey, two thrifty thieves, trying to break into the family home while the Bannisters are at church. It's up to Zeus and his newest sister Eve to join together to save the holidays for their family!

  • A Golden Christmas

Years later, looking for a fresh start, a man and woman each return to the place they felt most at home as a child. For the sake of their happiness, they must discover their common past before they turn each other s lives completely upside-down. Can a golden dog lead them home?

  • Golden Christmas 2: The Second Tail

Rod and Katherine Wright are enjoying their retirement in Florida - or so they're telling each other. At least they've made friends with their new neighbor, Lisa, who's a golden retriever fan like them. Rod and Katherine's dog Jake has three new puppy playmates: Mario, Luigi and Pasquale. But when Jake and the puppies take off during a walk with Lisa and interrupt a wedding proposal, Lisa is mortified to discover the proposer is none other than her lifelong-friend-turned-boyfriend-turned-ex, David.

No Christmas is ever complete without seeing Snoopy in the Charlie Brown series. I think that little cartoon dog reached so many hearts, because he made us think of the antics of our own dogs, even though we can't know what they think. Thanks for sharing all these movies....I think I'll have to try some of them one of these days.
