Awesome Dog Videos!

Updated on March 19, 2013

Welcome to my lens on dog videos!

This is my sister Gracie. She gets the biggest kick out of dog videos! She goes berserk, barking and howling at them when they come on the computer.

Some talented folks have put together a great collection of very funny videos, and some sad ones, thought provoking ones, sentimental ones, and what were they thinking ones! So, we scoured YouTube and Amazon to bring the best videos we could find, right to your paws!!!

We hope you enjoy this lens and add a few videos yourself!

And when you get a chance, check out my other lenses!

Featured Video!!!

Those dog gone ads!

Famous pups in commercials!

Over the years there have been many dogs featured in commercials, but none as famous as these cool pups!

Thank you Wikipedia and Citizen Lunchbox for this great info!

  • Duke Bush, a Golden Retriever dog belonging to Jay Bush, is the star of commercials for Bush Brothers and Company baked beans and chili. He "authored" a book about his life as a spokes-dog.
  • Gidgit, a female Chihuahua, was featured in the famous Taco Bell advertising campaign as the "Taco Bell Chihuahua." She also played the role of Bruiser's mother in Legally Blonde 2.
  • Honey Tree Evil Eye, a female Bull Terrier, was known as Spuds McKenzie in her role as the Budweiser spokes-dog.

Some super talented pups!

I am very sad to say that Skidboot was laid to rest on Sunday, March 25th, 2007. Half Australian blue heeler and half "chef's surprise," Skidboot was buried under an oak tree on the Quinlan ranch of David and Barbara Hartwig, his loving family. The Hartwigs asked that Skidboot's fans remember him with a donation to their favorite animal shelter. We salute you Skidboot!

Cute and cool!

It's a dog's life!

A Katrina Tribute!

On August 29th, at 6:10 AM Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans.

What followed was one of the most horrific tragedies to befall the United States - for humans and for animals. I often think about those people and poor pups that had to suffer and fight to survive.

Here are just a few of the wonderful videos that document all the animal heroes and animals affected by this tragedy, as well as a great and inspiring reunion clip.

Hero dogs!

Dog heroes through time.

They are faithful, hard working and have a lot of courage. They are the heroes of the dog world.

Thank you Wikipedia and Citizen Lunchbox!

The issues at hand...

My sister Gracie was taken from a hoarder - where she lived with 70 other dogs during her first four months of life. Many of the older dogs that she lived with were sick and starving. Thanks to a local veterinarian and a concerned citizen, she was taken in and listed on Petfinder.com - where Mom found her. Gracie has a new life, but many animals don't get that chance.

There are so many issues affecting us pups, and it seems the list keeps growing. Here we honor those that lobby and strive to keep us safe, warm, fed and loved. We salute you!

We warn you - some of these videos are graphic and not suitable for young and sensitive eyes.
