Min Pins are challenging - but worth it! Are you up for the game?

According to the American Kennel Club standard for the Miniature Pinscher, this little guy is "structurally a well balanced, sturdy, compact, short-coupled, smooth-coated dog. He naturally is well groomed, proud, vigorous and alert. Characteristic traits are his hackney-like action, fearless animation, complete self-possession, and his spirited presence."

Miniature Pinschers can be perfect companions in today's world - large spirit in a small package, eager to face the world and take advantage of the wonders presented. Be careful if you fall under their spell - you'll be hooked for life!

Here at Golly Gear, we know that Miniature Pinschers are special, with the build and attitude of a much larger dog in a small dog package. Our dog-loving staff will be delighted to find just the right products - and the right fit - for your Min Pin.

Chota in the Wrap-n-Go Harness

The Wrap-n-Go Harness

Chota, the Miniature Pinscher pictured here, is a master of harness-escape. His owner called us in desperate need of a solution for her Houdini-dog. She'd even stopped taking him for walks, fearful that he'd pull another escape and run into traffic.

We don't claim that any harness is completely escape-proof, but the Wrap-n-Go is the closest we've seen. Chota's "mom" is delighted with his new harness, letting us know Chota can't get out of his new harness and they're back to enjoying walks.

Spiked Leather Harness

Your little dog can be as tough as he or she wants in the Spiked Leather Harness by Top Dog while still being the most stylish dog on the block! Spike (below right) is ready for anything in the Black.

Available in Pink, Blue or Black, with adjustable buckle straps front and back. Spikes are in a "V" pattern on the chest piece and are also on the back straps.

Comfy and tough in a tattoo tee!

Tattoo Design T-shirts will make your Min Pin the coolest and most comfortable on the block! Wearing a Tank Top or a Two-Toned Shirt with these fabulous Tattoo Designs by All Star Dogs, your small dog will be the most up-to-the-moment in fashion! The designs are embroidered onto the shirts.

Perfectly clad in Plaid!

Fully-adjustable, light and strong, these cute Step-in Harnesses by Daba Doo will stop all that fumbling, trying to fasten multiple clasps you can't even see! Once you have the harness adjusted for your little dog, all you have to do is open the harness flat on the floor, have the dog step over it with its front feet in the openings, grasp the two sides and close the easy parachute clasp over the dog's back!

Keep that agile mind occupied!

With Clicker Training you can teach your Miniature Pinscher to do just about anything you can think up - and that your dog is physically capable to doing. And a busy, happy dog is always a good thing. This Click-A-Trick Set comes with instructions to teach your dog several tricks or "behaviors" and a clicker. If you've never tried Clicker Training, this is a fun introduction. If you're an experienced Clicker Trainer, it may give you some new ideas for having fun with your dog.

Need some help?

We know that Miniature Pinschers, with their deep, powerful chests and slender necks, can be difficult to fit - especially in a good walking harness. We've developed a "Do It Yourself Harness Selector" on our site that can lead you to the right harness for your dog. It's always available online.

Gator, my min pin is very sweet, but can be very feisty and he likes to look for trouble. I enjoyed your lens.

Ever since my first one, Min Pins are the best breed for me. Personalities and all. I actually have a blog dedicated to my past boys memory. MinPinBreed.info
