Baby turtles are born with everything they need to survive; they can get around immediately and find food by instinct. Sure, some of them might get eaten by predatory animals, but that's part of the reason so many are born to a single clutch; some of them are sure to escape and survive.There is no reason for mother turtles to stay and raise them.
