This is a really good question.  Animals have personalities, they react to to stuff.  It would nice if they got to go to heaven.

Well, I believe that animals go to heaven. I don't think there are bad or good animals, they are just animals, creatures of God. I saw the movie "Heaven in For Real" and the child said there are lots of animals in heaven.

Well, I am of Christian faith and I can only tell what I believe. Thus far I haven't encountered any biblical texts that indicate that animals have souls. Maybe they have some minor form of soul, but certainly nothing as described for humans. Animals are not intellectual or spiritual beings, they might understand some of the things we say and do but their thoughts and interests are not deep. I believe that after this life they might never exist in a spiritual form as expected of man.

I think if you believe that humans have souls there's no reason to believe that animals don't.

No they do not have soul. Only human has the soul and can be reincarnate.

If humans have souls then animals probably do too. We evolved from animals after all.

As the most successful and intelligent species on Earth, we like to think we're special or distinct from the animals. This is an egotistical belief. Our morality, love, and altruism may appear special, or even `divine', but there are rudimentary versions in the animal kingdom.

There's no evidence for souls, but there's plenty of evidence that we desire some kind of eternal life. All species fear death, but only one appears to have the episodic memory and imagination that is necessary to create an afterlife belief to soothe its existential anxieties.

To think that humans have souls and animals don't, you'd need to be an egotist and a slave to wishful thinking.... or just religious

The Wood Frog freezes to death every winter, & when it thaws out in the Spring it comes back to life?..So if the Wood Frog has a soul, where does it go or what happens to it?..I do think we have souls, but i think we're all "new" souls in training!lol..That would account for the growth rate of the population growing by 1 billion every 15 years, new souls coming down for the ride.
