Why Cats Want a Laser Cat Toy
Splendid for Senior Cats
Even a Senior Cat like myself likes a toy.
I know I need a toy to keep myself in good health but to tell you the truth I do enjoy the opportunity to play like a kitten again.
Even on those mornings when I just don't feel like getting out of my basket, I jump up pretty darn quick when that laser light scurries across the floor.
Senior Cats need exercise
I may be napping 18 hours a day but I need my exercise too, just as much as I did when I was young. Possibly even more so.
My favourite way of staving off degeneration (don't you hate that word?) is with regular exercise, twice a day for ten minutes a time. Now that I'm getting on a bit, I need an extra push to get me going.
Watching these videos about the Frolicat has set my tail to twitching!
I want to jump on the screen and pounce on that little red light myself.
The young ones like the frolicat - Not just for the oldies
How the Frolicat works - How to turn it on, set it, etc
Dogs like the Frolicat too - Not just for cats
Don't overdo the exercise!
Use common cat sense
Remember that I'm a Sprinter, not a Marathoner, when you see me stretch out on the floor to watch instead of crouching with the tip of my tail flicking, then you know I've had enough.
Time for a break. We can both have a refreshing drink of water.
After I've exhausted myself with the Frolicat
I need to calm down after a session with my laser toy. I get frustrated by never catching that audacious red dot, the Hunter in me craves a Kill.
That's why the woman who feeds gives me some sponge balls and feathery things so that I can really pounce and get my teeth into something.
You don't have to be a cat to exercise - People need it too
How much exercise do you get?
