Light Up Dog Toys and Collars

Updated on June 4, 2014

Find the best LED light up dog balls and dog collar gift ideas.

Never lose your dog or his toys at night again!

This collection of LED balls, discs and collars are the coolest gift to hit the dog park this season. Buy them for your dog, dog-sitter, trainer, shelter volunteer or family member.

More than just hours of fun, these lighted toys and dog collars make playing at night safer by preventing collisions with unseen pets or toys.

Although cheaper LED dog toys are available I recommend Nite Ize brand for rugged toys that are built for play and shine brightly. All gift ideas are available on Amazon and eBay for easy shopping.

Nite Ize LED Dog Balls

A fun gift available in three light up colors for night play. Beware of inferior balls, Nite Ize are built tough and bright for maximum fun!

Nite Ize Led K-9 Pet Ball is a unique, durable light up ball for using in supervised settings that allows the fun and exercise to continue long after dark. Disc-O changes colors on the fly and is made of extra-durable rubber for long life, even against the toughest bites.

Take it to the campground, the park, the pool, or the lake--Nite Ize balls are water resistant and float. It's tennis-ball sized (2.55-inch diameter, 4.5 oz.) and has 20 to 30 hours of run time. User-replaceable battery included.

Made of flexible nylon, this soft disc is a pliable, lightweight, LED powered flying disc that's just as easy and fun for you to throw as it is for your dog to catch. Its soft, sturdy fabric is mouth-friendly and extra easy on canine gums and teeth, and makes running and jumping with it a breeze. Inside the double-stitched housing is a fully protected battery compartment with a canine-resistant cap, plus an on/off switch that activates the LED which illuminates the entire outer rim.

A friend of mine has a really small chihuahua and she has a lighten collar to see her during night time. She also got for the dog a small bell (for the collar) to hear her and to not step on her :)

I love the husky playing with the lite up ball, very cute. I think every dog should have a light up collar if they are walked at night.

Wow, I didn't know they had light up collars! This would be great for my beagle, who likes to go "on the lam" as they say!
