Our Dogs
An introduction to our dogs.....
Curtis - the young boy
Pepe - it is! he's our newest rescue.
Binky - the princess (deceased)
George - Rest in Peace! (deceased)
Our dogs give us hours of enjoyment. It is amazing how they give our home a feeling of life. If they are not home the house seems so empty. They have such strong personalities and are the best companions.

The Newest Member of Our Family!
So we just adopted this little guy tonight. We think he is chihuahua/border collie mix? He is all black. Maybe 6 months old. He was found in Playa del Carmen, CA. People said they saw people throw him out of a car. Our friend who found him knows a vet who is going to neuter him for free for us. He's getting along super great with Curtis and he is now sleeping away in daddy's arms.
Update! We decided on Pepe! Thank you all for your suggestions.

PEPE
So this little guy has become such a sweetheart. He was so scared when we rescued him and would freak out at almost everything. He is now one of the pack laying on our bellies and scratching at us for attention. He is the boss of Curtis and keeps him busy!
We started calling him pimento and somehow we just came up with the name, Pepe! Join us in welcoming him to our family!

CURTIS
The newest member of the pack, Curtis, has boundless energy. He is a Border Collie mix that we got at the Los Angeles shelter. We were going by the park on Moorepark and stopped by their rescue drive. A lady was holding him but not making up her mind. So, I grabbed him outta her lap and said, "he's ours!" However, he was listed as a female. We still are not 100 percent sure if he is female or male and almost called him Jaslene. He is a big lover and our protector.

Hopefully, you can find some fun treats for your babies on this Amazon module!
Our babies love things they can chew....

Your babies can go back in time and imagine what it would be like to eat a dinosaur!

All dogs love Kong just get it in the size they will like. This would be for Curtis!

Who would you want to take home? Tell us why!

BINKY
Binky is our first dog. We bought her at a pet store in Nyack, NY at a mall. It was Christmas season and we were shopping. We stopped in the store to see the puppies and we saw her and asked to pet her. The salesperson told me to go sit in the petting area. He went and got her from the cage and when he let her out she jumped down and ran across the store and into my lap. We were not able to leave her there. She is a Boston Terrier and completely adorable.
02/13/11
Binky started leaning over and bending her head back to her side the other day. It went away then started up again. So, today I took her into the vet. She had x-rays and bloodwork. So, it looks like an inflamed nerve in her neck and she is now in the hospital for 2 days with a steroid intraveneous drip. The x-rays only showed minor inflamation (from age) on her spine and nothing else! So that is the good news. Hopefully, she will recover fully after a few months. We will have to seperate her an Curtis because they tend to play real hard. So that could only agravate the situation. Please send her good thoughts! Thank you!
05/11/11 Update
Binky passed on this morning at home. She has been suffering from Vestibular disease. She is now running around with George.
We will miss her very much.

GEORGE
After the drama with Binky being sick from the puppy mill or whatever she came from, we decided to rescue a Boston once we came to Los Angeles. So, we found Boston Buddies and we met a few dogs till we found George and he and Binky hit it off. They have been best friends ever since. He only had one eye when we got him. Two years ago his cornea melted and he is no blind in his remaining eye. It is amazing how well he gets around. He smells where he is going. And from time to time Curtis acts like a border collie and guides him. He is at least 14 years old now and winding down. We are giving him the most comfortible life we can right now.
George is now running in the woods of heaven and chasing critters. We miss him very much and are happy we gave him some comfort and love to end his days.

My new friend!
This is Wallace!!! He is standing on my desk. You can see he is very small. My coworker rescued him. He was a mess when she got him. Now he is super spoiled and just loves to sit in your lap. He weighs about 6 pounds!!!!! So cute. His ears were a mess so they had to sew them shut. I have never heard of that but it seems to not have affected him that much.

Curtis looks so great, superb dogs, nice lens :)
I'd love all of them! Dogs are wonderful friends and family members. It does my heart good to see yours on the couch! Sweet lens.
I have a rescue and she's awesome. I love your furry family, they're very cute!
Pepe looks similar to one of our guys "Marvin" who was rescued from Katrina.
My wife and I have always had dogs and they are all part of the family. A big hole is left on their passing, but the memories and the joy they bring whilst they are here makes it all worthwhile.
I love both of them, but Curtis my favorite one. Thanks for your cool lens!
Thanks for your introduction to your dogs. It's encouraging that you learned about getting puppy mill dogs from pet stores and then adopted the stray.
Sorry to hear about your loss. We currently have a cat with renal disease that we are trying to recup -- very stressful emotional. I haven't had to put an animal down in ten years and am not looking forward to it. Our dog has just past the ten year mark so we've been thinking about that dread too. Pets are such good companions and just so hard to lose.
I do love Binky :)
Love the pictures of your pets, dogs are greatest for pets, very intelligent and comforting.
I like Binky name for your dog.
Aww their very cute!
Sending Binky lots of love!

Your doggies need a treat in Viva's name too! :) Woof woof!!
It's nice to meet your pets. I have two Boston Terrier Grand Pups! What a handful. :)
Cute dogs and lovely lens. Great job.
Look like cute dogs! Nice to meet them and you!
You have lovely dogs. I have 7 dogs at my home, too.
Binky is like my dog Minni, escept she is a mini foxy. Love your stories and your dogs. Great lens and featured on Stars Kittens.
Thank you for the introduction to your family - they are all adorable, but Wallace kinda stole my heart. Like Ramkitten, I have to steer clear of pet stores or else we would have countless dogs roaming our home!
I never get tired of dog stories. And what a great crew you have there! I don't think I could go into a pet store and leave without a dog, so, needless to say, I never go into them. I'd want to take them ALL home, and the one I have now wouldn't appreciate that at all. Anyhow, it was fun meeting your trio of pooches.
Sweet lens.....Boston terriers are the best.....And a joy to be around
ahhh, sweet stories and pictures of your dogs! cute lens...5*... hope you add on more...so you can't tell what sex Curtis is??? hmmm, how about the Vet checking "it"
