I need help naming my new cat

He is a boy cat!!

I was at work the other night and on my way in I heard a loud meow. I looked around and noticed a small kitten, I would guess some where between 2 and 3 months old. It was very cold out about 19F or -7.222C out so it was pretty cold. Anyways the cat came right to me and allowed me to pick him up right away, it was strange that I didn't have to coax him at all, also he smelled as he had recently had a bath. This made me think that he was someones pet. Though the location lead me to believe that some one must have dumped the poor thing off, it seems very unlikely he got there any other way. Also when I got him home, luckily I already have a cat so I had food available, he ate like he hadn't eaten in a long time, as you know kittens need to eat frequently, well all baby animals for that matter. He is extremely sweet, much more so than most kittens I have had in my life. The adult cat I have now is very dependent on me also he always needs me to pet him and sleep on me, and can not stand it if I am gone more than a couple hours, this kitten seems to be the same way. I don't mind at all, but my lab gets jealous, lol. Anyways again he is a boy cat and I need a good name for him, all of my pets have nick names and I switch back and forth as to what I call them, they answer to their names and nick names, My black lab is Jeb aka Hooby, my adult cat is Hennessey aka woodie, and this new kitten is ***** aka moo moo. any ways any suggestions would be great and i will later post what I have decided as a name. If i get stuck between some names I will put a poll up on this hub and have a vote for those willing to help thanks again. Sorry my ugly face ruined the pics

I like that name, unique names are usually the way I go with pets. MY black lab name is General J.E.B Stuart. I called him Jeb or his nick name hooby pronounced who-b

Cute name and even better that the boys picked it out. I have a black lab named Tony Curtis. Cheers and enjoy your new family member.

LOL, it is a great name. You should have seen everyone when I took him to the vet for the first time. When i made the appointment they could not wait to meet sparky moo moo, they even took pics of him and asked to use him on their next advertisement for the animal hospital. He is very lovely and sweet cat, though he is very very bad.

I still laugh every time I think about his name. I think from now on, I will let my nephews name all the animals I have, the pick the most awesome names.

Lol it is funny how kids will get stuck with a name in their head. My sisters youngest is now 5 and when he was 3 or 4 he decided that he wanted his name to be Rusty, and would only answer you when you called him Rusty LOL. He too named everything he had a chance to name Rusty.

      I had a dog named Sparky when I was 7 or 8.

The name sparky moo moo is just too funny though. It still makes me laugh every time I think about it. He answers to it good though, of course he will answer to just sparky or just moo moo, but he seems to react better when you say the whole thing.

Yes I think he is a very beautiful cat, thank you. He is very sweet too and super soft. He is my number 2 cat. Though I love them all equally. My nephews cat just died not too long ago, and I am considering letting them take him, my brother already said yes but I may be too attached to him now. Though I know my brother will give him a great home, they take very good care of their animals. This is very important.

Thanks for the funny story also. Bye and God bless.

      Hi Randall!

I love cats and animals. It's very nice of you to take him in and he's beautiful!

Funny name LOL, but of course they're 3&5 how cute they picked sparky moo moo!

I have 14 cats that were rescued and I got them all fixed for free through an organization called pet promise in columbus, ohio.

I think the funniest name out of them all my cats is babycake that my son named when he was 8, or maybe it's the one we named sweet pea, or get this my daughter named everything larry at one point even a spider in her room that she wanted to allow to live she named it larry, also the fish she had! LOL

My son named a beta fish sparky once.

Kids are great and animals too. All the hard work taking care of them is all worth it!

LOL great names Micky. No one responded to my hub quickly so I let my brothers kids name him. They decided that his name would be sparky moo moo. Not just sparky or moo moo but both. I told them sparky was a dogs name and they said that it is a cats name now. lol they are 5 and 3, so This is the first pet they get to name. They have 2 dogs but didn't get to name either one was named before they can talk and the other got his name from my brother. Sparky moo moo still makes me laugh every time i think of that name.

Give Moo Moo for me! You know how long I've been waiting to have the fluffy one :(. Iong, the Cat I had been trying to pet for so long still hate me. :(

I thought the kids already decided the name? I like Moo Moo though.

And Dear, I think both Henny and Moo Moo think you are bed. :p
