The coolest hamster cages

Updated on August 14, 2012

Hamsters are cool and so are their cages

I have just been told I'm allowed a hamster so I decided to put together a top five hamster cages list. A good hamster cage has to have:

Lots of room

Lots of toys eg. tunnels, running wheel etc

Lots of colours

Lots of places to explore

A snugly place to sleep

Look cool

This hamster cage is very big, and colourfull. It has lots of toys like the big tunnel and the wheel, hamsters will love this.

Pretty colourful and very large with lots toys and tunnels. It also looks pretty good, I thing hamsters will be exploring for hours.

This cage has many tunnels and will definitely make your hamster feel like royalty. It is very colourful and big.

This cage takes up lots of room with tunnels (which are great fun) but doesn't have that much living space but is very colourful.

Very colourful and lots of toys however you can only keep one Syrian hamster in a cage no matter the size, but you can keep a couple of dwarf hamsters together in a cage, these are very scatty though and can easily escape.

THIS IS TERRIBLE! These are all under the minimum cage size and your hamsters will have a terrible life, please get them something proper and not something that you like the look of. This is why young children should not have hamsters.
