Toys for Cats -- Catnip and Beyond
Catnip Can Be a Cat's Best Friend
Catnip is good, but of course, a cat's human is a cat's best friend. And then there are all of the toys for cats that tend to accumulate when there's a cat in the house.
Cat toys are abundant. Pet stores and grocery stores carry all sorts of goodies to take home for kitty. But what cat toys do cats like best? Well, that depends on each cat.
My resident expert on cat toys, Scarlett O' Hairy, likes just about anything with fresh catnip in it or that has a strong odor, like fresh spices. After I brush her, she gets a treat or some catnip. Reward!

Cat Dancer - Get your kitty up and moving
I've read that play for cats takes the place of hunting. Since most cats don't have to earn their keep these days but have humans who pour food into their bowls, having a few cat toys that will get your cat up and at 'em is a good idea.
Cat, dog tired.
