Nice calendar - funny capture of monkeys in India :)

One should see the stealing baboons from Botswana and their tricky ways to grab your meal

      Waiting for 2012 calendar! :)

Really cool pics. There are monkeys in my neighborhood in Dehradun too. They are a big menace. Monkeys moving to towns coz forests are being cut down to make way for humans + other states in India pay money to the Uttarakhand govt. to house their monkeys, as Uttarakhand has more forest cover.

But they are big big nuisance.

@RuthCoffee: Thanks very much. The running cheetah shot was probably my luckiest. I ran out of film (yes I'm still occasionally using film) and the battery ran out just as I saw them coming towards me and somehow managed to change both in time for that shot... just. The monkeys in India were fun too. They get everywhere. I can watch them for hours.

@julieannbrady: Thank you very much. I agree, the leopard is really just like an African Jaguar and as you know, I am a big fan of Jaguars too. I still haven't seen a jaguar in the wild though. That's my next adventure (once AndyPo junior is a bit bigger. He's just 9 months old now and not quite ready for a safari)

This is loverly my dear -- love that leopard and I might be half-inclined to call it a jaguar ... why? Just because, you know? Hope 2011 is a WILD year for you and yours.
