This adorable elephant sock puppet was made using the sleeve of an old woolen sweater - and a thick knee length grey sock. The ears and tusks were made from left over felt from another project.
The eyes came from an old cardigan and for extra safety - especially for young children - they can be embroidered on.

You want to start off by cutting the toes from the socks, then simply roll the sock into itself. Then for the really fun bit create some "icing" from felt.

Begin by making a horse head shape on a piece of card. This will serve as your structure. Using filling such as that for a cushion, glue around the card.
