Recycle an Old Apron into a Car Organizer

An old apron makes the perfect car organiser especially ones with deep pockets that can be used for storing books, games, toys, make up, diapers. face wipes etc.

Not only will this keep your car nice and organised but will also give your children a place to store their things during long journeys. The great thing about the apron is that it can be untied and all the contents can be unloaded very quickly in your home.

These stylish necklaces are made from using old ties and different sized wooden beads and jewelry clasps. You should have no problem getting any of these items in your local craft store.

This is a great idea for putting to use old colourful ties that may have been quite expensive when first purchased but are now a little frayed around the edge.

I'd advise asking permission first before getting to work with your scissors as you never know which ties have sentimental value!

Dad's ties are great for making scary snakes for your special little ones.

As well as the tie, you will need some pink or red felt to make a rasping tongue and some old buttons will do for eyes.

These snakes are so simple to make and even easier to personalize. A felt marker can be used to write names on the snake or little bows can be sewn on for girl snakes.
