Did you know, each and every single color used in painting has a shouting message? Hence, it’s worthy to appreciate the fact that each color has its meaning. It’s like a code of expression or a unique way of sending a message to people. A color message is easily understood depending in the context the color is used.

Lots of people wonder what all the different colors actually mean. Others, also wonder why artist would stick their heads in painting. Why use colors to paint? Because they’re beautiful and appealing to the eyes. or because they're luring and swaying.

For instance,

In any campaign involving the environment we use to green color. Why use green color? Why in this campaign?

In blood donation campaigns, a painting of pure red drops is used. Why use pure red color? Why in this campaign?

This is a shade that you often see in love and bloodshed situation. It’s a unique color, always gifted and used in almost every occasion. The color is present in almost every picture I come across. In painting red is used twice- pure red and dark red. Each has its meaning and message to share.

Meaning of pure red color in paintings.

Pure red color in paintings symbolizes many different ideas depending how its used.

  • In Love and relationship paintings.

The obvious meaning of pure red color is love, romance and passion.

For example, paintings characterized with pure red color send the message of love and romance.

Pictures of pure red rose, are gifted during valentine to express sincere love.

“I love you”

  • In Work and job situations paintings.

Pure red color in painting may be used to symbolize courage, beauty and congratulation in work situation. Instead of someone being told,” job well done” a pure red paint of prosperity is always gifted.

Royal families used pure red colored robs and clothes present their power, authority and ranking in the society.

Meaning of dark red color in a painting.

Dark red color in a paint symbolizes, thoughts depending how it’s used.

  • In love and relationship painting.

Dark red color is used to show beauty of a relationship and friendship. It may also show deep and sincere love in some paintings.

May also mean “I love you until death do us apart.”

Black means no color. It sounds funny yet we all see it hence it’s a color. This is real and original definition by painters. In literature, black means having the darkest color like night or coal.

Black color in a ceremonial painting shows, sadness and the mood of ceremony to be nostalgic. It may also suggest, the ceremony went sour.

Black color may be used in a death or farewell painting.

For example: in death ceremony people put on black clothes to show doom and happy farewell.

In a war and struggle painting, black color represents defeat or reign of certain party. Hence, black is the color of supremacy.

White is having the color of fresh snow. What does white color represent in a painting? The following are different meaning of white color as used in different paintings.

  • In a relationship and friendship painting.

White color is used in a relationship painting to show purity, care, secrecy, and peace.

  • In a person’s painting.

White color registers youthfulness and innocence. Moreover, it may also show a bright feature a head of someone’s life.

Purple color is made up of many other colors. These colors include lavender, violet, peach, lilac and even dark purple color. Something unique, all this colors have same meaning and they’re are mainly used in relationships paintings.

When used in love painting they share wide range of messages about the relationship. These messages include.

  • Purple color means, enchantment in relationship.
  • Lavender color means, love at first sight.
  • Lilac color means, the desire one has to start a relationship.

Yellow is one of my favorite colors. I really enjoying viewing a site characterized of yellow shade. Am attracted to yellow flowers, yellow rose is my favorite of all.

Yellow is the color of lemons. Yellow color in painting or picture registers:
