Are You a Piece Maker?

Updated on July 14, 2011

A piecemaker, has lots of love in their heart:)

Do you like to Orchestrate things?

I fathom at words like this, that have two different meanings?  When we focus on the word piece, we can apply it in many other areas:) A piece of life, a piece of cake, a piece of pie, a puzzle piece!  How many pieces, can we make to form a masterpiece? What about words...each word is a piece of a sentence? There is so much value in the words we speak, in the thoughts we think.  Of course these words add to our thoughts, and form the actions in our days. We can produce peace, love and happiness, if we choose the right word pieces:)

When we break our lives down into pieces, into is easier to focus on the moment. Think about it...if you, were to form all the pieces of your life together, what would be puzzling about your life? Anything? Or would all the pieces just fit together perfectly? Would you consider yourself to be a piece maker, or a peace maker? They sure both sound the same, yet there are two different applications.

A piece maker, forms parts of things, to put together. A peace maker, seems to try to piece relationships together. When I think about a piece maker, I think about how they can form the shapes, and precision them to fit! It is so awesome, the talents others have. I see a piece maker, forming parts of robots, computers, art, an engine, or a name it?  Everything has pieces, that need to come together to make a useful item..or have a useful purpose. I love to put puzzles some of you, it is challenging and rewarding when it is all done! Unless there is one piece missing, then the time spent is left in disappointment?  Not all is a loss, it was a good exercise for your brain. and hand eye coordination helped in your motor skills...right? Just about everything we can think of, that we use in our day to day lives...have pieces! It can be both puzzling, and challenging at times, to put things together or in order, like the rub-ix cube, or a ship in a bottle:)

All those fixed and movable pieces had to come together some how? It is us, who engage in taking on the tasks at hand. In many cases, the projects are things that we love:) Maybe interests you are wired to make! It would be so amazing, to see the things we take for granted, taken apart and put back in place. The intricacy of so many parts, and how they all work together, to support each other.

For example, the original clock, and even more so the capabilities of the original watches:) There are so many small and intricate parts, that all work simultaneously. I'd like to see the inside of a watch displayed, with big mechanical working order. This would be a piece of Art! I know there are pieces out there!

Lets take your own life, it is a piece of art. You have unique and gifted qualities, and the interaction and support you are for others, may be beyond your comprehension? We don't know at times, how much of a difference, we can or did make in a persons life?  Sanding off the rough edges of just one, area of life.  So that, that piece of your life, can be put into it's proper place! With the edges now smooth, your life is blessed..everything just fits:) They now know what they need to do, and where they need to be:)

All the hard times, and trials we go through, is all a part of our past. Everyday, there are new challenges and events in life, this is all a part of our picture story. You know how you look, at a puzzle piece and try to figure out where it goes?  Most of the time, you can't put the piece in place until the surrounding pieces..are in their space! All connected and interlocked, there is one place left for that piece. It is you, you have a destined place to be, at a specific time in life. The master who created the puzzle pieces of your life, knows just when each piece needs to be put down and engaged...and He knows where you fit in the puzzle:) We may feel like we are in the air, not knowing where to land, and in all the time wondering...where you fit? He has you in His hand, God knows exactly when and place you in your place of security. Since He knows the future...He knew every part of your life story, before it was painted and formed into the puzzle pieces of your life! To us it is a changing picture, to Him as we walk through life, the areas of the canvas are layered with paint. Each step we take, He placed a stepping stone or puzzle piece, just before we stepped onto that path.  He knew, we would be at that place at that very time. When our story is complete, the last stroke of the brush, and the last puzzle piece...will be laid down! The very place you were meant to be from the beginning of time! So in His time, our piece is made, that we may have peace! The Master of Peace, has Made a Masterpiece...out of you, and in you:)

Yes, skellie...and the greatest of all is love:) Without love, we would all be lost and desolate. Thanks for being a peace maker:)

Great hub. I believe i am a peace maker. I take all the little pieces of my life and put them in the proper place. In society today, divorce is a major problem. Most of this is due to couples, not putting the pieces of their life in to perspective. Things like - leaving the lid off the tooth paste, not picking a towel up in the bathroom and leaving a pair of shoes on the floor. These are all the little pieces, that create the person you fell in love with. There is no need to change after marriage and start nagging your partner. Put these pieces at the bottom of the puzzle! The centre piece of the puzzle, is love. Those other pieces are just there, to make us realise that none of us are perfect. If those pieces were eliminated, the puzzle would fall apart and love would be lost.

      Really enjoyed the hub :)

      Awesome and up

Raphe, any wisdom in me..would have to be from The Lord of The Heavens:) The power of the Holy Spirit can work in all of us, revealing truths..we've never seen before:) To gain just a portion of His knowledge! WOW, that is what is so awesome...that He cares to share with us, you and me:) God Bless You! "Christ in you, the hope of Glory!"

I am a school teacher, and we make an "Each Piece Counts" bulletin board at the beginning of the year. The children take home their piece and decorate it with things that are important in their lives. Then we put the pieces together to form our community.

Love the play on words, but also the depth of meaning behind it.

I like to think that teaching The Word is just like that. Break the big issue down into smaller pieces, and use them to explain the whole. Brilliant!

      Blessings. :)

So nice I think I'll read it twice. One bit of advice,Go buy the same puzzle and have a contest to see who can find the missing piece. That brings to mind a thought, the missing piece in most peoples lives is Jesus.

Hmm. I learned orchestration in music school, but never did much with it. I have often felt like I have gone to pieces. It's taken years to learn that peace with God is not just some nice religious phrase, but that it can a living reality. When I'm uptight because all my pieces seem to be in pieces, it's great to let God speak piece to my pieces and remind my I'm still his masterpiece. That brings a lot of peace. He's the one who really knows orchestration.

I hope you don't think I'm punishing you too much for your always depundable wisdom!
