Art Supplies Shop in the Philippines
Locating an Art Store
I can't contain my excitement whenever I have a new set of art materials to use and play around with. For someone who loves to draw, color, paint or sketch, these art supplies are like gold inside a treasure chest. My energy level skyrockets automatically because just seeing tons of art materials boost and livens up your ideas. Aside from that, traditional art always has a special place in my heart as it is where all art forms begin.
Don't get me wrong, I also love digital art but I feel much more comfortable when I'm holding a pencil or a brush. The only concern nowadays is that there's a scarcity of art stores that sell high-quality art materials in our country. There are even some art materials that you can only buy online so to own an art material not sold in the country is a sure jackpot for me!
Since I have mentioned about art supplies, to help other art enthusiast like me locate stores that sells these art materials whether online or through physical stores, I decided to share the shops I was able to find in my long years of searching for hard-to-find art materials.
Deovir
If you want a wide range of art supplies to choose from, this is the online shop for you. They sell various materials concerning art like airbrushes, brushes, sketchpads, drawing materials such as charcoal, brush pens, pencil and many more. They even have accessories like painter's palette , easel, and brush holder. You can either buy these items online or visiting their physical store. You can choose how to pay these items with their different payment options.
The Oil Paint Store
Another one of my favorite art store. Despite of the business name, they not only offer materials for oil painting. They have a wide range of art material supplies you can choose from. The best part here is, they have a low price which is ideal for students and even professionals. They also offer delivery service without minimum order required which is great especially if you'll be buying only one item. Their store is located in Sta. Cruz Manila and is 3-4 blocks near Tayuman so it's easy to find.
Of course you can purchase their items online as well:
M. Enriquez Art Supplies Inc.
Like the two previously mentioned art stores, M. Enriquez Art Supplies Inc.also have a wide range of choices with regards to selecting which art materials to use. However you will need to contct them for orders and inquiries if you are interested to buy their product. Their physical store is located at C.M. Recto and they are open from Mondays to Saturdays.

What kind of medium do your prefer when doing an artwork?
OLX
Of course, OLYX by Sulit is also a good source when looking for best price art materials. This website is like Ebay where you can filter down what you're looking for so it's easy for you to locate what item you're looking for. Since this company is based in the Philippines, there will be a much lower shipping rate compared to buying it outside the country.
Office Warehouse
Office Ware House has 40 Branches in the National Capital Region so if you''re living in this region it will be easy for you to find the nearest branch. But if you want convenience, you also have the option to purchase from their online store. Their products also includes items which are not art-related. However you don't have to worry about locating where the art products are as their website is easy to navigate. Just simply select office and school supplies and then choose art materials. From there the art products are categorized so you can start browsing for the ideal art supply you want.

National Book Store and Fully Booked
Who doesn't know about these two popular shops. The only difference is that, NBS (National Book Store) offers a lower price compared to Fully Booked. However Fully Booked's advantage is that they have Copic Markers available on their stores. But if you are serious about art, money is not something you should be worry about because high quality items tend to have higher price. So if you want your artwork to be high-quality, your really have to spend a lot for it.
That's about it. I hope I was able to enlighten those who's asking or searching about where to find art supplies in the Philippines. If you know other art stores (whether local or international) that offers shipping and has an online store, please do share it here so we can help other artist. Let's color the world!
