Beer bottle caps; reuse to amuse!

Updated on April 16, 2015

That sparkling bubbles running along the inside of a cider bottle; that delightful 'pop' of the cap, just for it to be discarded to the trash. Wait! You can reuse it!

You might not think so, but yes, beer bottle caps are reusable! If you have a little creativeness and a whole lot of beer bottle caps, you can create a whole new and unique showpiece to show off to your friends!

Its easy to pop the cap off a bottle and enjoy the contents, throw away the cap and forget it even existed. By collecting a few, you can create a whole new use for the beer bottle cap!

One very funky way to reuse beer bottle caps is to create chairs or other furniture like tables or stands with it. If you have a chair or table that needs a little funk, why not decorate it with beer bottle caps? It will definitely be an eye catcher for the next barbecue!

All you need is a chair in need of a face-lift, a whole lot of beer bottle caps and glue. Arrange all the caps around the piece of furniture, as colorful as you like and stick them onto the table or chair with glue.

Another great way to reuse beer bottle caps is to create candles. It's a very creative and cheap way to get that romantic spark going that you are looking for...

To make the candles, you will need a few bottle caps, broken wax crayons and pre-waxed wicks. Melt the crayon into a bottle cap, place the wick in the middle of the cap and wait a few minutes for it to dry. Use as many different colors as you like to make a creative candle to light someones life!

Create a mural with beer bottle caps! Although you need quite a lot of caps to create a mural, the sky is the limit! It need not be a big creative piece; you can create a smaller mural to fit right on your lounge wall. However, if you would like to go the full nine yards, just let the caps be your guide to a masterpiece you can call your own.

The only things you will need is a whole lot of caps, a whole lot of clue, a suitable place for your mural to be and a creative streak or two.

Fridge magnets created with beer bottle caps is a fun and creative way to keep your fridge as creative as its owner! Simply add magnets to the back of the caps; as easy as one, two, three!

Next time you want to throw away that cap, rather keep it in a storage box. You never know, maybe the bottle cap bug might bite you too...

Would you place a beer bottle cap mural in your home?

My garage would benefit from one of those murals - great thinking

Voted up. Love the idea. It is indeed crafty, but the wife would kill me if I tried this!

      Love the mural though. Beautiful.
