Bellemaria's Perspective of Artwork and Poetry from a Convicted Murderer
I spent several working years in the Law and Justice field. I have seen and heard hundreds of stories from defendants, read and seen paperwork and pictures of crimes. I am the daughter of an Army veteran that was in the Korean Conflict, one of the servicemen that was NOT supposed to come home, but did. I have been the victim of this veteran with PTSD, we didn't understand then, but with all the media about it now, I understand. My life brought me to be involved with inmates, doing life for felonies....mostly murders, and I have found that there are a lot of them that have remarkable minds, but made bad choices early in life. I want to share some of the stories, poems and artwork done by a "lifer" to show that there is another side to some of them. I also want to share experiences of humor that happened during my career in the Court Systems.
