Chimes, Sun Catchers, Reclaimed Art

I love these Glass beaded Sun catchers, they are absolutely beautiful. You don't how ever, have to go out and spend a bunch of money on glass beads, I've used broken jewelry, dice, fishing lures, ive even used fingernail polishes to paint my husbands washers, or small odds and ends out of his work bench drawers.

Use your imagination

  • Gather or collect odds and ends
  • Glass beads
  • Fishing line
  • Tree branch or interesting looking wood for your base, or tin can, colander etc is a good start
  • Small pliers
  • Scissors
  • Small eye hooks, clips, or jewelry wire(to connect and hang all your pieces)

Instructions

  1. Go through your collection of stuff ,decide which pieces you want with which beads, bells, glass, etc and what type of string, chain, or wire etc
  2. Once you've created the look or style your going for, piece it together using the materials of your choice
