Colors here and there: Paintings
I had left painting when i was in my ninth standard. But then again decided to experiment with colors as the urge to paint became stronger that i no longer could resist. Thus once again i started my journey with blank chart papers, canvas, brushes, water, and tubes of myriad shades of colors. I am not trained and self experimenting in this trip of a colorful journey. Some water colors to begin with here ....
Some efforts and I tried my hand to make one OIL Painting. I have never learnt anywhere. So there may be many mistakes in the process. But never the less i tried my own ways to make these flowers , particularly Gladioli -
Never tried to paint horses ever. And I was bit nervous when i started to paint horses. I tried to paint running horses. Thus an attempt to make a set of three paintings of three different running horses. Then i realized that horses can express and they have to have expressive faces as well. Actually never thought about horses that much in depth way. I enjoyed the experience so far.
This one is a favorite among all my friends and family. Masai painting in sun rise hues which is one of the most experimental one as its watercolor. It seemed little difficult in the beginning because the color below tended to get exposed. Then i tried with as much less water to paint the blacks so that it don't' get flowing. I think i will do this types again in near future. Later it seemed easy almost when i got to know the technique of doing it.
This is an abstract painting. Water color with many hues to create a rainbow effect to depict life and the materialistic purview of world around. So here it is...a metaphor of rainbow life.
A rising sun peeing through the bamboo tree ....life in a way, because our life is also a game of Sun and Shadow all throughout, though it seems a plain water color it has a dormant meaning to it also. Life to be specific is attempted to depict through simple sun and shadow effect of the bamboo tree here in this one.
A real long time wish to paint this one but always got nervous to depict what was in my mind. This is a journey never ending:-)
But at last gathered all my courage and tried my hand to start this one about BUDHA and his journey toward enlightenment. It is a journey for me as well. This is set of four to make one painting about the famed spiritual journey of Bundha to his enlightenment. An abstract water color mainly in yellow hues to depict the eternal light to life and higher level of awakening. I will wish to make this typed again in coming future.
