Create a torn out page from scratches in GIMP 2.8

GIMP is a great software both for photographers and illustrators. It has many useful tools and has endless potential, the only limit is your imagination.

Today I felt like I want to share with you how to create a torn out notebook page illustration which looks very realistic. It's much easier than you might imagine. also it's a good practice if you are only learning to use GIMP.

First we will make two brushes, which we are going to use later on. Next we will work on the page itself. Just follow my instructions and watch carefully my steps.
