A 30-Minute Earring to Crochet

The 8th piece in my 30-Minute earring series is what I was working on when a monstrous flood hit our city, devastating everything in our little house. Originally, I crocheted it using shades of beige, but that got lost in the mud that was left by the flood.

There was no electricity that night due to the storm signal. But I kept crocheting in flickering candlelight and that's what saved us from spending the night shivering in our wet clothes.

Thanks be to God for using crochet to save my family!

The earrings in this pattern collection all use 3 strands of ordinary sewing thread. For this particular pair of earrings I used the same color of thread - dark gray.

Patrice, inspiration? Hmmm... I don't know. I just take my hook and crochet away most of the time. Sometimes I see a pattern and I just want to express it in crochet.

Yeah I think any lacy circular pattern would make love earrings.

These are cool! I guess you can take any circular, lacey motif and turn them into earrings. Where do you get your inspiration??
