Easter Card Making Ideas for Kids

Updated on October 18, 2015

Easter Card Crafts for Children

Easter is now just a few weeks away, so if you have kids or work with kids you might be on the look out for some great fun Easter Card Crafts to make with them. I am always on the hunt for easy but creative cards to make at easter time with my Brownie and Rainbow Guide packs, so have put together a little selection of some of my favourite easter card tutorials from a few different websites and blogs dotted around the internet.

From finger-print chicks and pompom tailed bunnies to cracking easter eggs, I hope there is an easter card craft you and your kids will love making, and your family and friends will enjoy receiving.

Opening Egg Card Craft

I think this craft would be another one suited to the children - if they are younger you may have to construct the card shape first, but they could have great fun decorating the egg shape and writing their own little message inside. You can find the full instructions on Living on the Crafty Side of Life Blog. This card would be great to do with ribbon scraps and deco tape as well.

2 Little Bunnies Card

I think this 2 little bunnies card is so sweet, I just love their little cotton ball tails, you could use pompoms instead too! Children could have a lot of fun drawing the grass and the flowers, or even sticking down fabric or paper flowers instead. And why stop at 2 little bunnies, you could have a whole field of them if you wanted to. Or you could relocate your little bunnies to different settings - why not a beach if you live by the seaside, to make them a little more personal. You can find the full instruction on Fab Mums.

Bunny and Chick Easter Cards

Paper Source Blog has become one of my favourite sources for crafty inspiration lately. They have some great simple paper craft ideas for all seasons and occasions, for kid crafters and for grown up crafters too. These little easter egg shaped bunny and chick cards are just one of the brilliant Easter Card crafts that I found on there. I love how simple they are but how affective they look. Plus with all the easter craft supplies out there you can probably find ready cut egg shapes to make them even easier to make.

Finger Painting Easter Card Tutorial

For little ones this Easter Card Craft using simple finger painting is really great. I found it on FabMomKT Blog and it really is so simply and cute to make. Your toddler will be able to have fun playing with finger paints whilst you help produce a cute card your relatives will be happy to receive. I thought you could also make little lamps on black card with white paint too, that would be cute!

Down the Rabbit Hole Easter Card

Lastly I found this 'Down the Rabbit Hole' easter card craft on Rustic Daisy Studio Blog. I just think it is adorable! It reminds me a lot of Alice in Wonderland and the white rabbit. You can image this little easter bunny is hiding easter eggs down that hole, and bunny tails are just so cute. This just requires a few simple shapes then just just need to layer them right to build up your little bunny behind. This might be more suited to older children but I think little kids could have fun decorating the grass around the bunny hole too.

Very clever ideas my friend. I don't have any little ones, but I'll pass this along to some people who do.
