6. Why do you love Etsy?

"I love creative people and supporting people who have amazing talent. I'm a frequent shopper of etsy and have bought the most amazing things. Plus, it's an awesome outlet to get my creations to customers all over the world!"

7. Tell me about your shop

"My shop started when I got engaged last year and wanted to ask my friends to be my bridesmaids. I googled some ideas, found some things on etsy, and then decided to do it myself. My wedding is a budget wedding, and I'm a graphic designer, so I was able to do a lot of things myself. People couldn't believe I did things myself, so I figured I'd try to sell them. I got about 25 orders in my first month and kept expanding from there. Today I'm at 411 orders in just over 6 months!!"

8. How did you get interested in crafting?

"I've always been interested in crafting. When I was 12, I took all these old clothes my mom was donating and glued patches together to make a pocketbook. It was ugly, but it worked! From then on, I just got inspired by ideas and put my own spin on them. I rarely buy things that I can make myself."

9. What kind of craft would you like to learn next?

"I just bought a die-cutting machine and I'm slowly learning all about paper and vinyl crafting. I'm super excited to venture into vinyl crafts!"

10. What's in store for the future?

"I'm looking to expand my shop from just cards and invitations to a full line of party goods. I do party banners for local customers, so I will be listing those soon, as well as favors, personalized paper goods and vinyl designs!"
