Ninoy Aquino Parks & Wildlife

One of my journey in exploring the Philippines was the experience of visiting a very nice park inside Quezon City in the Philippines. Yes you heard it right, there is an existing park, zoo and wildlife inside this humongous city. I get to explore this place because one of the location of my photoshoot was in Ninoy Aquiono Parks & Wildlife. The place was quite wide and it has a lot to offer to everyone who wants to get closer to nature. It has an aquarium, a playground, botanical garden and a Wildlife Rescue Center.

Getting Closer to Nature

Ninoy Aquino Parks & Wildlife is a really great place to spend time with your family and friends. You do a lot of activities in there, aside from its being located in the middle of the city you can also easily locate it because buses or even jeepneys passes on that area.

When we arrived at the area my first impression was "wow!", seriously there is a place like this inside a big busy city? Well that's the first question that pops in my mind. Our sole purpose for going there was for a product shoot and I'm not prepared for other else. But when the shoot was done I get the chance to roam around and take some great photos of the lagoon.

My First HDR Experiment

So I took some photos of the place for my personal collection. I chose the lagoon that is located in the middle of the park because of its good location and the reflection of the trees are very nice. After that I decided to try rendering these photos in HDR using a third party tool called Photomatix. I'm not familiar with the tool so I experimented on the tool and look on what I came up.

Hope you enjoy the photos guys! Mabuhay!

I have been planning for quite some time to go to Parks and Wildlife. Can you give me directions coming from EDSA South? Thank you for your informative article and interesting photos.

Hi grand_old_lady! thanks for the very good comment. If your coming from EDSA South you can take the Quezon Ave road. Drive straight until you will see the Lung Center of the Philippines. The Park is on the other side so you might want to look for a U-Turn slot that is near the area to be able to go there. Hope that will help :)

Your hub is unique and interesting :) We took our two children, ages 4 & 5 to a Zoo in our area a few weeks ago. It was their first visit, they had never seen any of the zoo animals live before. We all had a lot of fun!
