Supplies & Materials, Where To Find Them
There are so many different fairy houses to make! Each one is more adorable than the next in my opinion
But where do you find the materials necessary to make a realistic looking fairy house? The same exact place fairies find them, nature!
Tree bark, shells, acorns, pinecones, moss, dried flowers, sticks, and feathers can all be found on nature walks so that's where you should start.
Start collecting anything in nature that is small and keep your pieces organized for when you embark on your first fairy house.
You may want to collect pieces over a year's time to get different nature forms from each season as they change.
As you begin collecting, your imaginations will probably run wild with ideas.
You should probably use only materials found in nature to keep your fairy home looking authentic.

Fairy Houses Made From Gourds
You can make a gorgeous fairy house from a gourd.
Learn how to hollow out the inside of a gourd to make a fairy house by watching the video below.
Buy some polymer clay at the craft store and make the embellishments as seen in the picture. Glue the pieces on with E6000 glue.
If you wanted to make more than one, you can type "gourd farm + your location" into Google and see if there is a local one.
I just did this and found that there is a gourd farm located 8 minutes from my house, who knew?
