The internet is filled with wonderful free patterns made by talented designers offering their awesome creations for free. In this article I compiled a list of my favorite amigurumi Christmas tree crochet patterns. Get into the holiday spirit and start crocheting today!
1 - Traditional Christmas Tree
You really can't go wrong with this gorgeous Christmas tree. In its modest way it will certainly fill your home with traditional holiday cheer. The little details make this tree to an awesome piece of Christmas decor: the little stars, pearl bead baubles and silver thread garland are just lovely.
The pattern is in Swedish (use Google translate!) and contains pictures.
2 - Crocodile Stitch Christmas Tree
This crocodile stitched tree is truly a worthy center piece on your Christmas table. The tree base is stabilized with a card board bottom. This project can take up quite a bit of time, so make sure to start early!
The pattern offers a very clear and elaborate photo-filled tutorial, including instructions of the omnipresent crocodile stitch. The finished product stands 10.5 inches tall and the diameter is 5.5 inches.

3 - Stylized Christmas Tree
I love the minimalistic look of this stylized Christmas tree. The cold yarn colors and simple yarn embroidered snowflake decorations add a wonderful crispness to the final product.
The pattern offers two sizes: 6 inches and 9.5 inches tall. It is in Spanish, but due to its simple nature, this will not be a problem.
4 - Mini Spiral Christmas Tree
The switch of the two greens give wonderful definition to this cute little Christmas tree. It is worked up in continous rounds, switching colors after each round. Using half double crochet stitches, the design works up very quickly.

5 - Miniature Christmas Tree (And Angel!)
This wonderful blog offers not only the pattern for this cute little Christmas tree, but also for the adorable angel shown in the photo! A double whammy that is difficult to resist!
The tree works up easily and quickly. The "cute factor" certainly doubles after adding the sweet flower and bead decorations.
6 - Christmas Tree Ornament
This cute Christmas tree looks yummy enough to eat! Especially the snow garland with its little glass seed bead decorations almost make it look like a Christmas tree ice cream.
The tutorial is very clear and includes instructions for the snow garland and the little star tree topper.
7 - Cone Christmas Tree
These awesome cone Christmas tree are a sleek and classy addition to your holiday decor. Keep them minimalistic unicolor or use glitter yarn, whatever fits your needs.
The best effect is achieved using cone shaped Styrofoam shapes to create a sturdy base for your crochet work.

8 - Dutch Christmas Tree
This Christmas tree has a very interesting leaf structure. Those leaves are created by crocheting chains into the pattern. This Dutch pattern is quite difficult to decipher, even with Google translate, but once you do, the result is stunning.

9 - Button Christmas Tree
What a great idea to use colorful buttons as baubles on this sweet Christmas tree! Together with the little star tree topper, these simple decorations add a cosy atmosphere to your Christmas decor.
The pattern is very clear. The tree is worked up in a continous round and the final product stands about 5 inches tall.
10 - Small Ruffled Christmas Tree
The Lazy Hobby Hopper created this sweet little ruffled Christmas tree. It stands approximately 3.5 inches high. By altering rounds with stitches in backloops and both loops, a base is created in which the "petals" can be added.
The pattern is very clear and offers many high quality photos to make sure you'll be able to create this wonderful design without any problems.
11 - Small Button Christmas Tree (And Santa!)
Another lovely button Christmas Tree! The designer chose a more minimalistic look by using only two button colors and simple yarn colors. The great trick of this pattern is the switch from tree to Santa! What a creative idea!
The pattern is in Italian, but experienced crocheters who know how to use Google translate will have no problems.
12 - Small Sleek Christmas Tree
This little Christmas tree is about 4.5 inches tall. It's a sleek design with simple understated unicolor gold decorations. It comes with a build in pot!

16 - Ruffle Fir Christmas Tree
These very tactile ruffle fir Christmas trees are worked up in bands that are layered over each other on a cone shaped Styrofoam base.
Redheart offers the pattern for all three sizes of Christmas tree: small 6.5 inches tall, medium 9.5 inches tall and large 13.5 inches tall.

17 - Round Branch Christmas Tree
This cute little tree has round branches that are all ready for decorating!
The Christmas tree is created by a Russian designer. The pattern offered on Ravelry does not have a written part, but consists of diagrams. Unless you are really skilled in reading these, they're not for the faint of heart!
18 - Stacked Cone Christmas Tree
This colorful Christmas tree is made by stacking different sized crochet cones on top of each other. This creates a very stable structure that you can make as big or small as you want. It is created in double crochet stitches, so the cones work up really quickly.

20 - Trees With Hats And Socks
How cute are these little trees? The Russian site and pattern also shows trees with two legs on skis, skates and snowboard. But even on its single sock it's a very original addition to anyone's holiday decor. You can build a whole Winter Olympic forrest!
The pattern is in Russian and is not very complicated. The tutorial has pictures to add clarity.
21 - Pom Pom Christmas Trees
Though not strictly a crocheted tree, I wanted to include this lovely cuddly tree in this list of free patterns. For those of us who love making pom poms and playing with yarn it is the perfect way of giving that crochet hook some time off!
