Free Pattern

Please note: This is a free pattern. Lots of hookers have asked for my patterns and I have finally decided to try writing them out. I usually just pick up my hook and count and create as I go. I have done my best to write it so others can follow it. If there are errors please let me know. And of course, use your own creativity, if you prefer a row of hdc where I did a row of sc it will probably look fine. Happy Hooking!!

Abbreviations, Supplies and other Information

Supplies: #10 Cotton Crochet thread (1 or more colors), #6 Steel Crochet Hook, 1/2 inch buttons, Optional: Rosettes, Ribbon.

Skill Level: Between Advanced Beginner or Intermediate. You should be comfortable using a steel hook and crochet thread.

Stitches and Abbreviations:

Abbrev: ch=chain, single crochet =sc, double crochet = dc, hdc = half double crochet, st=stitch, cl=cluster - 2dc, ch 1, 2dc all in one space.

Please do not sell this pattern or claim it as your own. Sell as many items made from this pattern as you like! I would appreciate a link back to this pattern for credit.

I know I will add a row of sc or hdc in back to both sides so I'm not worried about the backs meeting at this point.

Bodice

Chain 26. Row 1: Sc across. (25 sc) Ch 1. Turn.

Row 2: 2 sc in each sc. (50 sc) Ch 1. Turn.

This is a good time to try the dress on your doll to see if you need to add more rows to make it longer or add more chains so armholes fit.

Row 10 is the ribbon row. This is optional. If you choose not to use ribbon, skip and go to Row 11.

Row 10: Change of color - Ribbon Row: Attach yarn to beginning of last row. Chain 3, Dc in next stitch and each stitch across to last stitch. Ch 3. Turn.

Hi, at this time I don't have more patterns that are ready to publish. That hat was something I just made up as I was going along and never wrote it down. I am hoping at some point to be able to write up more of these patterns but not sure when that will happen. Thank you for your wonderful compliments!
