Get Well Soon ASCII Text Art

That Grrl profile image

Laura makes ASCII art, using MS Notepad. (Since 1998). She is currently exploring adding colour to the plain text to make postcards.

I once made a "Get Well Soon" ASCII art for a friend who was suffering with a bad cold. I haven't found too much other ASCII art created for the "Get Well Soon" idea. Actually there is a surprising shortage of ASCII art which can be used for typical greeting card themes. Other than weddings, of course.

I'm going to try making some HubPages posts for ASCII art in the greeting card theme. I think it's nice to have something simple you can send a sick friend. ASCII art is easy to send or post online. You can take these image files and post them to your blog, as they are. Or, you can email them to your friend.

"Humor may be hazardous to your illness. ' - Ellie Katz

"Get well cards have become so humorous that if you don’t get sick you’re missing half the fun." - Flip Wilson

“The more serious the illness, the more important it is for you to fight back, mobilizing all your resources-spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical.” - Norman Cousins quotes

Would you send ASCII art greetings to friends and family?
