Do you have what it takes to learn how to make Ghetto Graffiti Letters? It's a fantastic skill to have, but I see so few quality articles on the Internet about it. Thus, I've decided to write this piece on it so in the future more people will have the knowledge they need to make some really nice artwork. We've even included some excellent links to graffiti generators and graffiti history.

A History of Graffiti

The history of Graffiti is really an interesting thing, and the sad part is that few that do graffiti know of it's history. So, anyway, Graffiti is originally from the Italian word graffiato ("scratch"). The first real graffiti was found in the ruins and catacombs of ancient Rome and Pompeii. Artists in these ancient times would write upon stone walls, and that would be considered graffiti, because oftentimes they did not have permission to do so, and thus the walls were "scratched". To the right is one of the earliest found graffiti paintings, of a Roman politician who was undoubtedly not though very highly of.  Also, the first known pictoral representation of Jesus Christ getting crucified was graffiti. It is pictured directly below.

Personally, I want my name in ghetto graffiti letters here and now.  So I've also posted my own name in graffiti, using one of the online flash graffiti generators.
