Printable Kitty Cat Cards
Printable cat cards
This type of greeting card needs to be printed out on your printer. If you have an inkjet printer, I recommend using photo paper. This will give you clean bright colors and produce the best results. Printing out one of these designs is just the first step.
Once your item is printed, the crafting begins :-) You may decide to add layers to give a 3D effect (like the card on the right). But there can also be other fun additions, like the string of bunting across the top of the card featured at the top of this page. Then you can also add your own embellishments such as glitter, gems, lace, googly eyes, bows, and more.
Here's a couple of freebies for you to print:

Iris Folding Ideas
Cat and Kitten Iris Folding
Iris folding is a craft which involves carefully laying strips of paper behind a shaped hole to follow a pattern. The center of the design usually forms an iris (like that of a camera).

Origami Cards
Origami cats
These origami cat cards are simple enough for kids to make. After you finish folding the cat, draw on the face and any other details you like. You could decorate with googly eyes or circle stickers for eyes. You could add a collar cut from colored paper with a little gem on the front. Fix your origami feline friend to the front of a card. Here are some instructions for making origami cats.
