Harry Potter Crochet
When it comes to Harry Potter crafts, it seems like knitters get to have all the fun. The Harry Potter movies use many knitted costumes, from hats and scarves to sweaters and socks, which fans have been replicating for years. Furthermore, several characters in the novels are known to knit (Molly Weasley, Hermione Granger, and, surprisingly, Hagrid).
For those who are intimidated by sweater patterns, or who love the ease and versatility of crocheting, these smaller-scale Harry Potter crochet patterns will delight crafters and Harry Potter fans alike.
Most of these patterns are not online yet; the photos are just a sampling of the projects that I have already created. Several new patterns will be posted each week, and the links to these will be added as they appear. The first of these patterns is the Hogwarts house scarves.
Other patterns I've made:
The Giant Squid
Ginny Weasley's pet Pymy Puff (Arnold)
Neville Longbottom's bunny slippers
The Golden Snitch
Leaky Cauldron coasters
If requested, I could create a second page with photos of these patterns.
Each of these photos depicts an original creation. Several of the designs were inspired by photos found online, but the patterns are entirely unique and written by the author.
I’m always open to new Harry Potter crochet ideas, no matter how unusual. Feel free to post suggestions in the comments section!
