How to create a beautiful photo slide show
Fun and easy way to create a slide show of your favorite photos
I know you have family photographs stashed away on your computer or even in photo albums. Why not share them and create a special memory of the event? I know it sounds hard and time consuming. Well what if I told you it was easy and quick to do. Oh and did I mention that it's free too. I know I've got your attention now. This is just one program of many available on the world wide web these days - but I have also included some links below to some others I found interesting and wanted to share with you.
This program that I tried is called "Photostory 3" it's a program created by Microsoft that you can download "free" and store on your computer and create slide shows which will play on Microsoft Media player. You can quickly upload your photographs, add text to them, add a special effect so they open individually in different directions or styles, very cool feature. The other thing you can add is your own custom music. For instance if you are creating lets say a wedding slide show of someone's wedding, well perhaps they had a special song that was their wedding song. You can upload that and include it in their slide show. Neat idea - are you getting the picture now, no pun intended of course. This program is so easy to use - if I can do it, I know you can too.
After you have created this fabulous slide show, your friends and family will be so impressed and will love viewing their favorite photos to music. "Photostory 3" also has other built in music you can choose from to include in the slide show, if you do not have a special song to add. The other very neat thing about this program is that if you have a microphone connected to your computer you can record your own voice and narrate the slide show - how cool is that!
First step is getting all those pictures added in the program. The program will help guide you through getting them to fit just right on the boxes, make sure they do not have any black borders showing, the program will ask you if you want to remove the black borders, so make sure you do this it's a very important step. Then you can add text to your pictures, you can choose the style, color and size of font. Then you can arrange it anywhere you like on the photo for some cool effects.
Once you have completed the slide show you can preview it and then save it to your computer. You can also obtain the link which you can then send as an email attachment to those you are sharing this slide show with. Simple - yet impressive. What I like to do sometimes is after making a slide show is to burn the to CD's, then I create a very cool cover using a special photo from the slide show with their name's and dates etc. Looks great and makes a wonderful gift.
Well fellow hubber's until next time. I do hope this was helpful to you. The slide show I have included in here is of some of my favorite photos of the "Pacific Northwest" - enjoy! I am so blessed to live here - cheers!
After creating the slide show just upload to YouTube!
You will want to share the slide show - here's another way to do it!
Once you have created the slide show you can go to YouTube and open an account - it's also free. Then you can easily upload your slide show to the web. Then capture the YouTube link like I have here to add to hubs, blogs or to just send it to your friends and family so they can view it online. Whatever your desire is to create, you can do it easily and without a lot of hassle. Of course if you have printed photos you would have to scan them first - oh well have fun and enjoy!
