I think I'm feeling a little horse

Updated on September 5, 2010

So there is a back road that I like to take on the way home sometimes after work that takes a little longer to get home but I think it's worth it. I think that the view is a little better than the same old drive every day. Needless to say ...I like to stop and shoot the horses.( He He.) I find that I am really relaxed when I drive this was. It's nice. I get to drive slower than 70mph and really take in the country. Trees on either side waving at me as though I'm the only one that can wave back. It's freakin' awesome! And the best thing about it is the horses; the strange horses. The way they look at me is really kinda scary. Kinda creepy really. But I like to be a little freaked out by nature. It keeps me in check with how God must be so awesome to make me a little off kilter. It's like when I took these shots of the two horses. They eyed me the whole time. Their eyes followed mine. It was like they knew that I was stealing their souls as I took the pictures. Then their is the picture of the "EVIL EYES". Can you guess witch one I'm talking about?  Bottom line is... I like to take pictures and steal the souls of horses (and they know it). Is anyone out there? Anyone?...............

I love horses and have had a few. But I have been also been injured by them more than once. But that is the life of an old country boy. Cool hub.

These pictures are great. The bottom two, especially.

Horses always look so wise to me. Or maybe I just always imagine the Houyhnhnms in Gulliver's Travels.

These horses are beautiful. I would stop and shoot, too. You seem to be able to approach the horses. Maybe you are not the only one taking their pictures.

Great shots, the 4th one is awesome. Looks like they'relooking straight at and through you...I can see what you mean by creepiness haha. God speaks to us in so many ways and I believe that nature is one of those great ways. How lucky that you have an altermate route that offers such beautiful scenery!
