There Are People in Need of Illustrators

Many people are drawn into the world of illustration because they of course can draw. They are able to take an idea and sketch out a picture that others can understand. It is no different than learning to write your ABC's.

I first thought that the illustrator jobs would be rather limited. After all, you only have so many newspapers and so on, but, illustrating doesn't stop with mere cartooning. There are jobs to be had from people seeking illustrators to create pictures for books of all kinds.

There are business card companies that use in house illustrators to custom create business cards. There are greeting card companies that use illustrations. I believe that if you are looking to freelance, there are opportunities as well. You just have to look for them.

If you go to a page called Glassdoor, you will find many listings for illustrator jobs. As I write this page, there are over 26,000 listings for companies that are seeking people to regularly produce what they need for their projects.

Here are some of the job titles you would have as an illustrator. They all sound very important, and, of course, they are!!!
