Jaden Smith Teams Up With New Balance to Launch Vegan Sneakers

Visionary Design

Jaden Smith, philanthropist, musician and entrepreneur has teamed up with footwear and apparel company New Balance to Launch a new line of vegan sneakers. The line will be released on July 24th. The NB for Jaden Smith Vision Racer will come in various colors such as baby blue with more colors to follow at the end of the year. Smith was instrumental in the conceptualization, design and development of the show which will retail for $150 a pair.


In a recent press release,New Balance spoke on the reasons why Jaden was the an excellent fit for the collaboration. They stated that he is a visionary, a smart, intelligent change-maker who is passionate about advocating the vegan message to the world.


His unconventional style and musical achievements as well as his focused approach to philanthropy and environmental issues.



Smith, an avid vegan activist is well known for speaking out on issues such as sustainability and environmentally conscious design. The shoes are highly reflective of Jaden's values and core beliefs as a young man in the technological age. The shoes are constructed using recycled materials making them sustainable and suitable for vegans.

-insole uses some recycled materials

-Foam inserts made from castor bean oil, recycled foam, recycled rubber as well as virgin PU.

Jaden Smith is a young pioneer as he continues to stand firmly on the front lines of the vegan movement in Hollywood as well as globally. Speaking out against issues that affect his generation and generations to come. The new line is just the start of a solid brand partnership between Jaden Smith and New Balance states Chief Marketing officer and VP of global Merchandising Chris Davis.


The first offering from New Balance and Jaden Smith will be on the shelves in the United States on July 24th 2020.
