Coffee Can Bongos - Cover the base of an empty coffee can with colorful material, cut in an even shape. Secure with rubber band or string.  Use hands or kitchen utensils for sticks.

Cereal Box Guitar - Using a marker or pen, trace and cut out a large, oval shaped circle on an empty cereal box. Tape ends of box closed. Attach cardboard or stick handled to inside, secure with tape. Securely tape strings or rubberbands across hole.

Paper Plate Tambourines - Staple or sew two sturdy  paper plates together at bases. Fill with materials that are large enough to not fall through any openings along seems. Pebbles, dried beans or nuts, beads, and similar materials are good options.

Buy bells from a craft store, ask any associate and they can show you where they are. Depending on the backsides of bells, secure backs to paper towel roll by making incisions in roll and applying hot glue. Tape around glued fixtures to secure.
