Fruit Dishclothes

Knitting Fun

If you enjoy knitting as much as I do and especially knitting dishcloths. Then you are probably always on the look out for a new to you fun pattern to knit.

Knitting dishcloths is a great way to practice your knitting skills if you are a beginner. Since it is a small project it is easy to take along and work on while waiting for appointments etc., Dishcloths knit up fast and it is very rewarding to complete a project and move on to the next.

I knit dishcloths for myself as well as my daughters and to give as gifts.

We recently had a wedding shower and were looking for ideas to give out as prizes to the winner when a guest would win one of the games we would be playing.

As one of the prizes we bundled up three dishcloths and tied them up really sweet with a cute ribbon..I was amazed at how many women were disappointed that they didn't win. I Wish we had of thought of it sooner we could have given them out as door prizes instead, then everyone could have received one

Generally my dish clothes are knitted with cotton yarn.

To keep me from getting bored from knitting the same thing over and over again. I am always on the look out for a new pattern. Occasionally when I am in the mood I will try to create my own design..But that takes time and a lot of thought.

While searching I found a few new to me dishcloths..I have placed a picture and the link of each one here for you, just in case you haven't stumbled upon these in your search. The patterns are free, although there maybe some that you will need to join or become a member to get the free pattern..The membership is also free and usually it is to send the newsletter to your email address.

I love everything about this dishcloth

Easy to knit, great texture around the edges as well as the lacy look on each side of the hearts that create a zigzag pattern

Hello Knitty

Grandmother's Favorite Remake

I love the look of this dishcloth. It is actually a remake of Grandmothers favorite dishcloth.

It is also worked on the diagonal with a solid border and an open weave center..In the pictures shown here they actually look like they are weaved with linen or a yarn made of gives it a real classic look.

Of course they can be knit in any color desired, but I am loving these rustic country fall colors

These dish cloths were made using Lion Brand Nature’s Choice Organic Cotton. The yarn is soft and easy to work with.

Out of all the dishcloths I have made, at this time, this is my all time favorite to use. I think I need to get busy and make up a few more. Love it..

I'm not a knitter but I do like to support other writers whenever possible, so here I am. Good instructions here. I'll pass it on to a relative who knits.
