What Is A Shawl

A shawl is a fashionable as well as functional article of clothing, worn loosely over the shoulders, upper body and arms, and at times over the head like a scarf . It is usually in the shape of a rectangle a square or a triangle.

Prayer Shawls/ Healing Shawls

What is a Prayer Shawl?

A prayer shawl , is a shawl that is created by hand and prayed over as it is being made. Knowing that shawl has been prayed over, for a healing or any other blessing , I believe gives the recipient comfort and peace.

Over the ages of time, shawls have come to give people a sense of comfort, shelter, and peace .

Since the onset of the Prayer Shawl Ministry in 1998, the members of this organization have donated their time and talents as well as love, by creating hand-knitted and crocheted shawls for those in need.

What started as a small movement has quickly grown into an international cause, with a very large amount of shawls being given to grateful recipients around the globe.

This is beautiful. There are so many to choose from I can't decide which to make, but there'll definitely be one. Voted up and pinned.
