Latte art is a growing, fun form of expression at coffee houses around the world. When steam milk is poured into an espresso coffee (to make the latte), a natural froth forms but many barista's have taken this opportunity to make their own works of art either through pouring or 'drawing' on the top of the latte.
Popularized by David Shcromer, latte art began to appear in the 1980's throughout the Seattle coffee house area. Add in the spread of information on the web and we now have hundreds of great pictures of this art at its finest. Here are thirty pictures for your tasteful delight.

I'm certainly no master barista but I love coffee; especially when I get to go through the entire process of grinding the beans and brewing a fresh cup - we all know that wonderful taste that comes from a fresh cup.
