Make a glass from a beer bottle

First of all i have to warn you that this experiment includes glass breaking so you need to be very careful not to hurt yourself.

First pick some nice looking beer bottle (for example Grolsh). Next things you need are: a bit thicker string and some lighter fluid.

Now you need to sink the string in a lighter fluid and let it soak a bit. When you got that done, you put the string on the bottle and light it. You should hold the bottle horizontally and let the flame spread all over the string. Keep the bottle like that until you hear it cracks (this shouldn't take more than 20 seconds). After you hear the crack you should put the bottle under cold water and let it cool. The only thing left is to smooth the edges and sandpaper will do the job just nice. There you go , you have yourself a new glass.

Once again I need to tell you to be extremly careful when doing this so that you dont end up injured.
