Marshmallow Snowmen

Updated on November 15, 2012

Easy Edible Christmas Or Winter Craft.

You will need the following items:

Jumbo Marshmallows

Regular sized Marshmallows

Small or Specialty Flavored Marshmallows(specialty or flavored marshmallows are bigger)

Black tubed cake decorating frosting

Orange tubed cake decorating frosting

Vanilla or white frosting

Pretzel sticks

String red licorice or gel tubed frosting of any color for a scarf.

Large cupcake papers or small paper plates

Powered sugar preferably in a shaker bottle.

First you take the Jumbo marshmallow and spread a thick dollop of frosting on the bottom and place it frosting side down on the paper plate or the cupcake paper.

Then take a tube of black gel frosting and make two dots on the Jumbo marshmallow, one in the middle and one on the top.

Next put a small dab of frosting on a regular sized marshmallow and affix it to the top of the Jumbo marshmallow. Use black gel frosting to put two more dots on the side of the marshmallow.

Then take a small marshmallow and use the black gel frosting to make two dots for eyes and four dots for a mouth. Then use the orange gel to make a carrot nose. Then put a dab of white frosting on the bottom of the small marshmallow and affix it to the top of the regular sized marshmallow.

Take one pretzel stick and break it in two and place one one each side of the middle marshmallow.

Next take the licorice string and cut it into a three inch piece and wrap it around the neck of the snowman. If you are using the gel frosting to make a scarf, simply trace round the neck and make a knot and two ends on either side of the buttons on the middle marshmallow.

Then the last thing to do is to sprinkle a little bit of powdered sugar over the snowman to make it look like fresh snow.

Now you can eat your snowman!!
