Mom and Dad's Garden: A Small Collection of Mobile Photographs
About my parents
After mom and dad retired, they spent a lot of time working on our front yard. They like seeing me take photographs of their plants with my mobile phone. I'm no photographer and I don't own a decent camera but mom and dad are quick to appreciate whatever crappy photograph I show them. Sometimes, I'd get really good shots and they would say, "Wow! Ang ganda naman!" (Wow, that looks beautiful!). To the best parents in the world, this small collection is for you.
Me: Mom, what is this?
Mom: Swee Mei
Mom: S-W-E-E M-E-I
Me: Thanks but I can't find anything on Google about a Swee Mei.
Mom: That's what the gardener said. I even wrote it down.
After searching Google for 10 minutes, I finally found a Shui Mei on a WordPress site. Mom said 'Ang galing mo sa Google!' She got a piece of paper and wrote down Shui Mei, Wrightia religiosa aka Water Jasmine.
I appreciate you for visiting this hub! Do you have any advice for photography enthusiasts like me? Maybe in the future, I'll have enough to buy a proper camera and of course I'm looking to take some courses. There's a lot of the world to see and to preserve in photographs!
What camera would you recommend for a newbie?
